if you want the Kilo, get the Kilo. There's absolutely nothing "wrong" with getting it, it was just 'wrong' based on what you had said you needed. Myself and others just found it humorous that after all this back and forth you would end up with the bike that's suggested here 45 times a day for people on a much smaller budget.

Im glad to see that mash pens are being pimped.
Also has anyone suggested the wabi lightning? It sounds perfect for you.
But seriously. Just get the wabi, then get the track bike of your dreams later. You should be able to resale the wabi. To me. Seriously. Buy it, then sell it to me.
I've been to the store for a test drive and was completely impressed. Also I think shipping is only $25
If you want a bike so had you have to have it now, "waste" the money on the wabi.
And then sell it to me for less and buy another bike.

I'll bump it some more then.
The Wabi Lightning is an awesome bike. I know because i own and ride one. The 71.5 head tube angle is somewhat compensated for by a 50 mm rake fork. Steering is not ultra fast like the track frame I rode before, but more than enough for me. You don't need track geo to go around corners fast, it's more skill than anything.
I built it up to a 14.3 pound bike (bought as frameset) with a front brake, bell and bottle holder. Going to get it to 13 pounds eventually. The ugly track ends have been revised for 2012 with stainless inserts.
It's an all round great bike. I ride it more than my crabon road biek my employer has insisted I ride for promotional purposes.
Also Richard is a awseome to deal with. Honest, straightfoward guy.
