maybe I'm just not seeing it, but any specific pointers may help not only myself, but others w/wider tires that are looking for colored tires.

well, I did find *some* colored tires ... like the early Model-A, any choice I wanted, as long as it was black :-)

Well, if you wanna go SUPER cheap...

$20 for 2. I have a pair of the blue ones on a beater coaster brake bike that I play polo with sometimes and they're good enough. Not recommended for skidding, though...

I have a pair of these in solid red (Duro Speedy Arrow). They suck REALLY BAD. Lumpy, thick beads that do not fit well on narrow rims, heavy. Anyone who wants the pair that I have (ridden a few miles on rollers, never on the street) can pick them up FREE (if you get here before the garbage truck).

The super everwear only comes in black or black w/ white stripe.

http://www.somafab.com/tires_ev.html
The regular everwear comes in all the colors, but i do notice it now lists the psi at 110, when it used to be 150 max. I run my tires at a much higher psi than most people though I guess, so that shouldn't be an issue for most

Also:

Well, the whole question is currently moot for me, as I can't find any colored tires in my size (32). Oh well ... :-)
The soma now comes in 32c, although I'm not sure which of their colors they are offering for that size

Thanks for the link! I checked it out, and like a couple of other sites I've found, they offer only black or white in 32. The good news is they offer the full range of colors in size 28 if that helps anyone.

Can you go a tad smaller or larger?

Fyxation session tires are colored and come in 23, 28, and 35.

I could probably go smaller, and will consider that option when it's time for new tires; thanks!

My pleasure; owning a pair, they do run a bit big from printed size; so if you are aiming for 32c, then 28's should work for you.
