Clicking sound

Last few days, I've had a clicking in my bb. I haven't taken it apart yet, and I know that realistically it could be a few different things, but has anyone had this before, and what was the root problem? Hoping to make my repair a little easier if I can.

BB could be loose, it could need a good cleaning and re greasing also. Is it only clicking or is there any squeaking going on down there also?

I recently had a bad squeak in my bb no clicking though. It just needed a serious clean and re greasing, it was full of sand and grime from riding on the streets. Not saying this is for sure the problem your having but in my case it was an easy fix.

And is there anything I should know about euro bb's? I'm used to mid since I ride bmx, and I haven't taken this one apart yet, and I don't want to screw anything up

I had a squeaking that happened every downstroke of my left crank. Turned out to be that my seat was loose.
