Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Cranksgiving 2004: Wednesday 11/24/04 alley-cat downtown. Race starts at the "Bridge" at 4th and Flower. Start time 6pm or 7pm (somewhere in there). Past race goal (probably the same for this year): fastest time purchasing specific goods at specific markets for least amount of money. Race ends at a mission downtown and all goods are donated there.

Anyone going to do this? I've never participated in an alleycat nor am I a messenger, but heck it'll be fun, and its for charity.
