Looking for riding clothes
I am looking to buy some biking clothes like a pair of shorts, pants, shoes and short & long sleeved shirts/jerseys. I went to my shop today and they have these padded baggy shorts. The owner said you can wear them while riding a MTB or a road bike.
Right now I bike in mesh shorts and a plain t-shirt. I just got my helmet and I feel a little weird riding a nice bike, with a nice helmet and then mesh shorts and Nike sneakers. Doesn't really go well together.
What do you guys ride in when you go on lengthy rides?
Can you post some links?

Go to your favorite cycling shop website and click the clothing link.
OR
Go to your favorite bike shop, walk into their clothing section.
But most importantly, you need to get these. They are by far the best thing I bought for my bike. https://www.universalcycles.com/shopp...6&category=229

Same here. I used to think that cycling bibs/shorts were a little akward but they really help a lot and are very comfortable for long rides. get a jersey too, you can put stuff in the back pocket like tools and food while keeping you nice and comfy.

Get some bibs or shorts and a jersey. I wear them pretty much no matter where I'm going. If its not on a long ride I just throw some cut offs or something over the bottom half and maybe a plain tee over the jersey if I dont want to look like a peloton rider.

just wear whatever.
I have super expensive stuff and it's ****ING GREAT but then again, so is wearing a cycling short under your regular pants and wearing deodorant.

There is nothing at all wrong with your cloths, they don't feel uncomfortable to you in the least, you just "feel a little weird?"
Money must be burning a hole in your pockets.

get some bib shorts and a jersey and definitely clipless pedals if you dn't got em.
if it's for commuting, don't buy any specialized outlier or swrve crap. i got some swrve knickers and they're only wearable after some modifications. even then i only wear them in the rain. they suck. levis 510 es where it is at dawg. they also just make padded underwear you can wear with any shorts you want - instead of the mtb short option, which usually look like ****.
