So close... but so far!
Man, I got SO close to having my single speed road bike project all done. I have front and rear wheels all setup and ready to go, new brake cable in the front, and I even rode it around the complex parking lot. A few things became quickly apparent:
- The seatpost is WAAAAAaaaay too short. Must get one *much* longer
- The quill stem is bent! Drop bars are obviously tilted toward one side of the bike
- The frame MIGHT be too small. Standover height is perfect though. Hmmm..
Anyway, just had to vent my frustration with this project. I was hoping it would have been DONE by now.

Some pictures would be great.

The seat post I wasn't sure about, I didn't notice the bent stem until after I had it built up. D'oh! It might be a good chance to just toss a flat bar on it, I have a couple of those laying around, with their quill stems. Might even take a shot at a cruiser bar flipped upside down
Oh, and pix will be put up as soon as I actually have some. I don't have a digital camera though so I have to wait until the bike is rideable and can get it to work where I can borrow one.
