Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Bikes: Fbm Night Train, Fixed Club Fuji(so sexy).

So, I'm at thanksgiving dinner with my family and I go out to get a can of soda in the garage and notice a very atractive road bike in the back of it and I asked who's it was. Turns out it's my cousin's and my uncle tells me he had put alot of money into it but haden't ridden it in years. I told my cousin his bike was really nice and he told me he'd sell it to me. I asked how much and he told me it was mine, free. I'm so excited. The bike is beautiful, but I dont know much about road bikes, I've ridden bmx for the past 5 years. It's a Fuji and the tag on the seat tube said Si35. The decal on the top tube says Club Fuji. The bike is dark blue in the front and white in the back and the forks are white. It has nitto bars and a nitto stem. MKS pedals. 165 cranks. It's ready to be converted as soon as I can get some smaller alen keys as I've lost my small set. Any one know anything about the bike or where I could find out anything. It's really pretty and I can't wait until the conversion is finished and I'm riding it. My cousin totally rocks.

I'm on this one now, for good!! This bike is sweet. Some one would have to give me a free track bike for me to ride anything else at this point. I'll see if I can make it to the ride tonight. My girlfriend was supposed to be going away for the weekend and her father is an A hole and kind of canceled on her and her sister last minute. and she lives with me, so I'll see if I'll be there. Hopefully.

Yea, Is is posible for me to some-how remove the decals frome the bike. They are under the clear coat and I can buy clear coat if I'm able to remove it a bit and get the decals off. So yea, I can remove the clear coat, but I can't mess up the paint. Worse comes to worse, I leave them on, they look fine, but just wondering..

People in phily.... I have this nitto stem and nitto bars.. I really want some decent track drop bars.. Does Via bikes or any other shop do trades and if so, would the stem and bars be a decent trade for a pair of track bars? Or does anyone from philly have a pair of decent and decent looking(no or few scratches or dents and all that) track bars they would trade for these? Let me know, thanks.
