Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? I hate to post a picture I've posted on bike forums before... but I'm just so excited about this thread:

I'll take a new shot this weekend when I'm riding the century.

and surprisingly the ben's cycle coupon works on the histogram models too. if I wasn't curious to see if they got the bolt I might pull the trigger.

I want a Supercorsa Pista really really bad. However, there is no way the wife will let me drop over two grand on a frameset. The Gazetta is a lot closer to my budget, so I'm gonna try for one of those next year.

@jimmytango...the way you drink your bourbon almost makes me ill but i do have to say i agree completely with your taste in this matter. saw a supercorsa pista in the flesh once & ever since have been lusting for one. that is the epitome of what i want in a bike frame. well, i did good at the hardrock casino a few days ago, went online shopping for one & when i found a couple frames in my size on sale at treefort for "only" $1700 i had to force myself away from the puter before i did something foolish & rechecked my finances. dammit, it's a no go ...for now.
but i do like those vigorellis, hmmm...

In that winter picture it has 30 mm Schwalbe CX Pros. The front tyre clearance is little tight, but the rear could take perhaps a 35 mm tire

As for the seatpost, long legs and sloping geometry tends to do that. A Mash of same size would hide 4 cm more of seatpost, but a Mash frame was not an option to me

EDIT from seat rails to seat clamp ≈21 cm. That is not so much, or is it

EDIT 2 and dat 120 mm stem: Pro Vibe track drops have surprisingly shallow drop and short reach (something like 140/80).
