Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

sorry but everyone who's posted in this thread so far is completely WRONG!!! #1 hottest piece of steel on fixedgeargallery.com PERIOD: #1120 Andrew Tranter's Sinar Design I mean, seriously, how can you compete with that ****? look at the distance between the end of the crank and the front wheel, it's almost crank overlap, nevermind pedal overlap. And the fins dude, the FINS!!!

Quite fond of this one, for a modern look. Check out that one piece custom milled crank!

i like this one: https://fixedgeargallery.com/cliff.htm because it's my friend's bike.

he cracked the fork right at the crown/steerer tube joint when he was using it as a work bike when his HH got jacked....everything is campy on it except the pedals in that picture...and i snagged a set of old campy pedals for him before i left boston. such a sick-ass bike...

that looks like a pretty deep dent in the right-side seat stay....that's not part of the original geometry I assume?

A friend of mine owns that. He's part of our small fixed gear population.

Bikes: Univega - fixed conversion

This is my friend Melissa's bike ... she just got it this weekend. How cool is it that her dad built it up for her birthday?
