I got my fixin's and let me tell you the fixin's are good! I love my niblets so when I saw a soda version I just had to have it! It kind of is like a cream soda mixed with delicious sweet corn. I am planning on buying more because it is tasty and made in the U.S. and with Cane Sugar.

Does it taste anything like bubbly, liquid, Kellogg's Corn Pops?

A little...more corny in taste then the pops if I recall pops correctly.

Pretty sure if I had to pick one adult beverage to live the rest of my life with it would be good red wine. Don't get me wrong - I'm an IPA drinker, enjoy strong beers of all sorts. We keep a couple bottles of fine scotch (esp. Islays) and generally keep a full cabinet for a proper cocktail with whomever we might invite over. But still, a strong, gnarly cabernet or red blend with dinner or jammy merlot with dessert just hits the spot every time.

Pure orange juice.

Edit: Too slow.

Pff, like that would stop anyone. Anywho, I'm a teetotaler although I keep trying to understand beer and sample it every decade or so. But no matter the type, it still tastes as putrid (like steeped carbonated lawn clippings) now as it did many time before. Maybe I'm just not doing it right? Good luck OP.

Why zombie such an old post? The thread is still a relevant thread but I don't think I have ever seen YummyGooey on here since I have been a member so responding to that is odd.

Going back to the spirit of the thread.I am probably going to have an Arctic Ocean Soda I picked up in an Asian supermarket a little while back. Tangerine soda was appealing to me.

Used to be my favorite drink growing up, but then it started giving me indigestion. I can still drink it (Tropicana), as long as I keep it below 6ozs. Was just about to have some coffee but I'm out (cream went bad too). Will add a note if I get up the energy to go to the supermarket later.

BTW, I never guzzle my juices, instead I to sip them. That way I can savor the flavor over time. Its also easier on my system so that I don't get that flood of carbs all at once.

Pritchard's Tennessee Whisky. They are just north of me in a speck of a spot on the map named Kelso, TN. Great area for riding and the Elk river is nearby.

Hey question that is Beer related
Anyone tried this stuff that could give me a useful flavor profile:
https://www.newbelgium.com/beer/the-hemperor-hpa/

A client dropped some off to help us get some work done on his bike and I am not really a beer drinker (and by not really I mean not at all can't stand the taste of beer) but I cook with it (I know odd right) and wondering if I want to take a bottle or two home or just give it too my staff and wait for the next bit of beer which has been coming slightly more frequently because they know I do good work or will make sure good work is done if I am not doing it.

I can't help Veganbikes with his hemp-infused beer choice but I can say that this single malt Scotch that I'm imbibing is quite smooth. (Springbank, 10 years).

If you want super smooth whisky, go with bourbons. If you want some individuality and taste, single malt scotch is where it's at.

However, there are so many boutique American whiskies these days, the sky is the limit.

Sláinte!

veganbikes 09-18-18 08:29 PM

It was less a choice and more a "customer dropped it off to help with his work" Anywho I might just give it to friends, I have tons of beer to cook with so I wouldn't be hurting.

One of my co-workers is big into Single Malts and my Grandmother loved her Scotch quite a lot and sadly (or maybe not) that is really the one real memory I have of her is sitting on her back porch blowing bubbles (when I was quite young) as she smoked and drank her Scotch (it was also how she died, drinking and then caught herself on fire smoking).

I am curious to try some of the Japanese stuff because I keep hearing great things about their single malts and scotch distilleries. A coming together of Kanpai and Slainte.

Being in the UK, we have a limited supply of bourbons but we can get that one and it's a remarkably pleasant tipple. I never mix spirits (I drink G&T without the T) except I put a splash of water in Scotch.

Main drink is proper English ale. I'm drinking Marston's EPA as I type this. Not a favourite, but it'll do. If I go to another country, I drink whatever's local and enjoy it. It never tastes the same if you bring a bottle back though.

Yesterday I was drinking a lot of 3$ shots. Bartender recommended I try some ‘coffee’ shot using patrón xo café. Wasn’t bad, considering I don’t like coffee. There was also a lot of rum involved. I’m not a regular drinker though, so I guess it’s worth mentioning.
