Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? No problem. It wasn't you who set me off, just the whole thread in general.

As I am the one who started the thread, my above statement stands. Do you not imbibe for religious reasons, or for your health, or for a different reason? Don't feel that you must answer, as I am merely curious.

I imbibe for my mental health. Sometimes an ice cold beer (or two, or three) after a ride home from work is just what I need.

Not bad for 10 calories. Kind of like an Arnold Palmer with smarties in it.

On the bright side, I was the most sober person in the room so everyone thought my band was good haha.
sounds like my friday night last week where my friends and i made a rule where we couldn't order the same drink twice. started off with an ipa followed by a jack n coke, sam adams, tequila kamikaze, adios, la water, and lastly a double shot of cazadores. puking on the hwy ensued shortly after.

(and as to the undercurrent, i didn't drink for 16 years because the guys around me used alcohol as an excuse to do really awful things. later i had sports goals to pursue and alcohol didn't figure in. now i enjoy beer/wine as food/part of a meal and not as a vehicle to get messed up....)

Surprisingly good, at least the first 2/3 was. A nice, mildly sweet caramel taste, very roasty.

You guys are crazy. Kamikaze, Adios and ending with two shots of more Tequila? I would be belligerently drunk. Not even miserable puking, just angry puking.

Always some of the best nights. When someone else has to tell you how much fun you had, you obviously had a great time, right?
