Copper and brass are the best and have nice, long-resonating rings. Copper is a wee bit more high pitched. The aluminum one sounds a little dull.

I've only had Nitto B320 bars on my Fuji. Poreurs will give pretty much the same hand position but will be a few inches lower.

It is not possible to use an outboard bearing BB with Sugino 75s. I'm using a Phil Wood square taper BB w/ 108mm ISO spindle.

My lbs just so happens to have a 700x25 folding version with the red lettering on sale and i was wondering if the reduced weight would help to improve upon the tire's lackluster rolling abilities.

Do you have any miles on the Fyxation Curve Saddle? I know you're running a Turbo on your Thunderdome and they seem to be fairly similar in style. I'm looking for a white saddle for my bike and the Fyxation comes up time and time again in my searches. I know RG carries them so I didn't know if you'd used one or not. Seems the white Turbos command a bit of a premium via the auction site, but the Curve looks to be an interesting, much less expensive option.

Thoughts on the Curve?

Also, on the Cane Creek brake levers, are the Tan Hoods fairly similar to the tan used on gumwall tires? A lot of the images online make them look pretty dark. I know I'm being superficial and stupid, but... well, colors, man. :)
