Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? My 725 was really stiff. I think probably a bit stiffer then the T1 i'm riding now. but I've got to say the T1 is much more comfortable. Like, significantly.

Like many here, I just like the simplicity and challenge of SS/fixed. My mountain bikes are all SS (not fixed) as well. But I don't race, either. If I were to seriously get into racing, I'll buy another gearie. But I can't imagine that happening anytime soon. I'm hoping that Draper Velodrome will happen sometime this decade. Not holding my breath, though.
ditto everything you say. if you do get that vigorelli, or even if you don't, we should ride together. Do you know about Salt Cycle? hit em up. it's mostly the alleycat/ critical mass scene, but now they're starting a team to do some races... goood ****

Low bikes in SF looks interesting. I'll most likely never have the money for one, but they are supposed to be good, inspired by early 90's Cannondale track frames.

Positive things arise from buying the right size frame.

Why, because they're aluminum?

I guess I can see it. If they didn't have a forward-sloping top tube, I may be a little more interested.

Now the Leggenda. That's inspired by the Cannondale track.

I bought a black NOS Bianchi Pista Concept for a price I couldn't turn down. I am excited to build it up. I did contact Bianchi and the new Super Pista fork will work with this frame and is drilled for a brake. (current fork does not).

Thanks everyone for the help.

I know they used to. Those frames aren't listed anywhere on their site now.

it's still listed on the order form. hopefully they do still make the track frame, i'm looking at that as a possible next frame.

Ahhh, I see now. That's a nice frame. Those overdone, oversized logos are indeed a turnoff though.

It's an option to get no decals. Probably have to pay extra though.

I can no longer predict BFSSFG. I thought everyone in here would rail on the LOW...especially Scrod.

Why? The welds look ugly in a lot of the LOW's that I've seen. They don't seem too bad in the pictures up above.

i'd kinda half to agree. which is unfortunate becuase it seems to be the only flaw, and maybe mad toe overlap on some frames...
