Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Agreed. However this may have been a better candidate for the "Bike Porn" thread.

no.
the wheels are X-rated, the bike without the wheels is PG-13.

it appears, yes.

why the low performance high durability tires with the high performance low durability wheels? the two dont compensate.

That wheel looks like it would disintegrate instantly if you rode it on the street. Thats just plain stupid in my opinion. I would rather buy a wheelset for a fraction of that cost that was actually durable. Looks good though, so i guess thats all that matters (not).

16 spokes is probably sufficient for the use it gets.

hahaha no... 16 spokes is just fine. I was making a comment on about 90% of the tarck crowd cuz all they do is take pictures of their bike instead of riding it.
