Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Food

What are you lovely folks eating? I'm broke as hell, so I haven't been eating a lot. It's been ramen and froot loops for me lately. Also, what's the best meal you've ever eaten? I had a Mangalitsa pork 12 course at Blackbird when I worked there. Every course including dessert had pork. Fantastic.

Bikes: good ones.

Club w/ pepperjack, bacon, lettuce, cucumber, spinach, sweet onion sauce and vinegar. I put jalapeno chips in there for crunch.

Just finished it, didn't have a chance to take pictures. I liked it.

Bikes: N+1

I have been stir frying lots and lots of veggies because I suck at cooking meat

My aunt made ribs a few weeks ago and the meet was just melting off the bones. That was the best thing I have eaten in a while

Seriously though guys, half the threads on the forum end up on food-related tangents. Why not have a food thread to help curtail some of that?

I had a bag of teriyaki flavored beef jerkey and washed it down with a Stewart's birch beer. All on the way home from the grocery store....

I also just ordered my first fixed gear bike for a commuter/beater (black Windsor Hour) so I'm pretty stoked, might even eat another bag of jerky to celebrate

What we need is a bfssfg chatroom. I remember back on vwvortex/TCL we had one.

Couple that with some pancid and tocino, you got yourself a meal.

My mom is filipino. The one thing I love about her culture is that all my relatives try to feed me a **** ton of food. Its all delicious.

So how does 53-13 brakeless with BMX pedals and no straps sound?

And you must be joking about the rice.

Now that's a man's gear ratio and bike set up.

You have to have a be-in-it-to-win-it mindset, ofc.

I would use it, as well as probably be logged in most of the time, since I do not log out with I /afk.
