Langster Pro and front brakes?

I ride a regular langster and love it to death. I need to buy a second bike and a shop by me has a langster pro at a really good price. I dont have my langster fixed, so the pro woudl be my first fixed bike. Wondering if anyone has any experience adding a front brake to a langster pro, I dont think Id feel too comfortable riding without brakes...

thanks

adding a brake should be a universal experience...of shame.

KIDDING! I think you should ride with whatever suits your style and comfortzone for sure. After all, it is about the expereince, and the better you make, the more likely you are to repeat it.
If you are more comfortable with a brake, add one. It should be pretty standard. I think CX-styled brakes are better positioned for fixed riders who prefer brakes. The crap near mid-drops - looks odd with just one. But, that is just my eye's desire for symmetry.

well, I guess my question is wether it is possible to add brakes at all. I dont think the front fork is drilled for a mount and its a carbon fork, so Im not sure whats involved or if its even possible. The guys at the bike shop didnt seem to think so, but I want a second opinion...

what are cx-brakes?

I would probably add a mountain bike two finger lever if I added a brake, would like to keep the drop bars and hear you on the symmetry.

I have a Langster Pro. To add a front brake you will need to buy a new fork; the stock Langster fork is not drilled. I bought fork from Performance and use Shimano 105 brake on the front.
