Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

27" rims? Looks nice! Get some straps on those clips though.

Half clips only keep your foot from sliding forward on the pedal. Any clip without a strap does absolutely nothing as far as foot retention goes. If you don't believe me, try removing your straps and pulling up really hard on your clips.

At any rate, that's a cool conversion.

700 x 23's. Did you keep the drops? or the bulhorns? BTW, Scrod is right about the staps, but personally I prefer the half clips. Thanks for the comment gents!
