I mean, Superb could probably get one for you if you really wanted.

Probably not. I think the Pake decals are under the clear coat.

ddeadserious 10-18-12 10:05 PM

But Superb would probably sell you a custom French 75 made by Pake just for them to sell to you. Exclusively.

Hell yeah.

Pake French 75? nah, sh*t's custom. It's a Superb English Soixante-Dix Cinq. Didn't you see how much I paid for it?

Right. And the geometry and general design will not resemble the French 75 in any way except that one way but we won't mention that.

It will also not come in the exact same colors.

The decals are removable on all Pake frames.

I emailed pake to find out if they will ever revise the French 75 for dropout plates on both sides and I got this.....

Hi,

I don't think that will ever happen. That would cause the wheel to slide around in the dropout.

Hello,

I was wondering if Pake will ever end up making the French 75 with dropout plates on both sides?

Thanks!

Nagrom_ 10-19-12 04:43 PM

Ask em if they'll matte the fork.

I guess every other manufacturer of aluminum track frames doesn't know what they're doing.

Exactly what I was thinking, who ever this Evan guy is needs to rethink his life

Scrodzilla 10-19-12 04:58 PM

FWIW, he's posted in this very thread.

IvyCap 10-19-12 05:03 PM

Ha! Well I'd like to see his explanation behind his claim.

Netdewt 10-21-12 08:56 PM

A lot of you guys have Leaders in your sigs (and yet post often in this thread). Is Leader related? Their aluminum frames have a cool look to them.

Scrodzilla 10-21-12 09:28 PM

Leader and Soma/Pake are in no way related.

You can't be fast unless you look fast

jasonnc80 10-22-12 07:14 AM

FWIW my Leader has single sided dropouts and even after almost 2 years they look perfectly fine. Maybe I'm doing it wrong but I think the whole double sided dropouts thing is overblown.
