I don't mind the occasional geared bike appearing in here but there is no derailler that qualifies as porn in my book. They are intrinsically ugly. Arguing about their aesthetics is like arguing the comparative beauty of different herpes lesions.

The thruster fixie does too with the proper components. Nah, I'm pulling your leg.
Anyhow my statement there was more geared to the company/ dealers are still treating the brand with the old "made in the USA" moniker, which is no longer valid, to move product.

As for the DA9000, dat bolt pattern; I'll definitely take a pass on these and stick with my more traditional looking cranks.

It does kind of look like a big nasty herpes lesion, doesn't it? Still, cranks are beautiful things, and I don't even mind an attractive cartridge but derailers will never be anything but a necessary evil to me.

The thruster - I've seen that thing in real life. That ronald mcdonald POS will not ride well no matter what. And comparing it to any cannondale is just mean

Also, campy derailleurs and delta brakes and components in general definitely qualify as porn

This and tricolor. Proof that derailleurs are beautiful things, and don't require a love of "herpes-lesions" to appreciate them.

I love campy, especially the late 80's / eary 90's stuff.

Unfortunately, the 600 arabesque RD does not perform all that well with a large chainring. No body angle adjustment makes for poor chain wrap and a noisy drivetrain. I will reuse mine on a bike with smaller rings
