It's 66 degrees in the middle of December in Jersey, I'll take it. Also took the Bianchi out rather than the Zephyr.

Under the bridge downtown
Is where I drew some blood
Under the bridge downtown
I could not get enough
Under the bridge downtown
Forgot about my love
Under the bridge downtown
I gave my life away

It was some good hard pack so not that hard on the fatties and similar to riding this singletrack trail in the summer... that is until you get off the well beaten path and have to slog through the deeper snow.

Love the perspective in that shot and the way the haze emphasizes the distance.

Giant Contact SLR. It's pretty thick, if you like that, and smells like new shoes

Thanks!
It was a foggy day, I could barely see the city from the bridge.

Welcome to the South...

Headed out early today in thick fog with an array of flashing LED's - was completely soaked and glasses fogged for the first 14 miles. The sun came out and the temperature shot up. Started at 56°f and ended it at 70°f with leg warmers and vest stuffed into the back of the jersey. About 44 miles and 2700+ ft climbing. Lots of rollers and kickers and all the lunchtime training rides on the fixed-gear bike has helped tremendously.

This is roughly the route - County Farm Ride #3 (44.4mi/2726ft) - A bike ride in Cobb County, GA.

The firewood is off to the left. I put a dollar into the "Honor box" as a thank you for seasonal hay bale decorations these people do.

Pictures don't do this home justice. It is the epitome of southern style and charm, right on Main St. in a small little country town of Dallas, Georgia.

Old train depot. Mr. and Mrs. Clause are mounted deer heads.

MUP was jammed with riders today so I bailed for more country roads, but not before spotting some Ti.

Hope you all had as great a ride as I did.

15 mph through the Geneva on the Lake strip. Summer Fri/Sat nights you'd be lucky to get through at all!
Little drizzle, but 60 degrees on 12/12 here!?! No complaints!

Exploring some new routes. Hadn't seen these roads except on a map. Not surprised that I ran into gravel given the remote location and got my tires dirty on about a mile of the stuff. So worth it for these new roads I'm discovering...

oh i know ansel quite well, rowell apparently too (just not by name until now)

ansel was a major inspirational factor in my photographical educationalisms, his methods are ingrained in me
