I'm not sure how accurate the strava apps max speed is, but I can tell you I was terrified.

It was pretty much like that when I bought it. I think some of the finish and feel varies between different colors with this tape, so that could explain it...

My Strava ride got cut short but total for this morning was 11mi and 1700ft at 13.5mph.
