Threw my new frame together with scavenged parts while I wait for my new (mostly used) parts to come in, and took a ride along the river:

Why do they have a fire extinguisher cemented to the ground? Should have featured the "no bicycles" sign more prominently in the shot. ;) -Tim- |

This is ace and I don't even like risers on track bikes. Well done.

What river is that? What is the location?

And you're totally right about featuring the no bicycles sign. :) |

Thanks! It's my first build and I'm super stoked.
Tires don't match. Throw it in the river and start over. :p |

Also, I don't think I've ever used stoked non-facetiously before. What are bicycles doing to me??? |
When you ride a sw8 fixie, it's always stoke time.

Even with the temporary parts, your bike looks pretty nice. Except for the stem/bar combination. That's the first thing I'd change. Should be really cool, though, when you get it all done. |

I thought that looked like Seoul. I was there about 5 years ago. Quite the city, isn't it? We went to that big white tower in the background.

You know, I was pretty unhappy with the stem/bar combo when I put it on, but it's starting to grow on me. It's also surprisingly comfortable. It was the first thing I was looking forward to changing, but now I'm not so sure. :foo: |
scoho, I really appreciate when people post pictures of what to me is a foreign country or a far off place.
I wish there were more people posting pictures from Asia, Africa and such places. Thanks for the pic. Please post more with the scenery if you have a chance. :thumb: -Tim- |

Took a casual ride around my hood on my old French bike SS conversion. The photo was taken in a small park that's a stone's throw from my house.

I loved this photo series on bridges in Seoul, and happened to find myself under one of the featured bridges today:

But, still, everyone else's photos are sized so appropriately... :foo: When I resize in my photo editor the quality gets severely degraded, and I can't figure out how to resize directly in the post. I should probably just throw myself in the river along with my bike. :( |
