Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

The thing about the camera panning though is that it doesn't really feel any different than moving your head from side to side in a play. I always felt the staticness of the action was supposed to play in contrast to the dramatic tension.

That is a very fair criticism.

I found it very odd and unique, and enjoyed the strangeness factor.

Wow, you guys are all around the same body proportions. Do you guys swap bikes between each other during the ride?

The caad10 that's right behind mine is kinda close to my fit, and I've ridden his bike a couple times haha. The silver one is actually really big, and the one with the pink bar tape and the caad9 on the ground both use speedplay

I like the stealthy front brake setup haha.

Tried a wide bar setup.

annnnnnd were back to the old setup. Though I do like the wide bars- theyre not the best for everyday use.

I also need to get my canon t3i out and put it to some use. Its been neglected

Bikes: All of them

My commuter fixed gear likes to go play with all the geared commuter bikes sometimes. They accept her because of her rack, fenders, and dynamo hub.

Looks sharp! I see people here with Bern helmets and I wonder how they survive the 100+ temps. Whew!

Thanks

I really like Berns helmets, they fit my dome really well -- they can be a little toasty in hot weather but nothing horrid
