I'm gonna watch this movie, and then head straight to Wal Mart and pick up a "Thruster Fixie"

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1547234/

Watch the trailer and then you'll understand

Bikes: good ones.

****ing nice dude.

I love it when coffee places have clearances on roasts. Got two things of winter espresso roast from Starbucks for like $10 a couple weeks ago and I have been going ham since.

I can't wait to see that movie. Srsly.

Note to self: Buy stock in every fixed-gear oriented company before movie release....

I have one of these (the thingy that holds the filter---what is it called?) but mine is plastic, where did you get a glass one?

What I am wondering is if JGL is actually doing all the sw8 fixie tricks, or is it some kind of stuntman? Skidman. sw8.

Canes, thanks for sharing this video link that I have never seen, and hasn't been reposted in this very forum multiple times.

Thank you.

You know what would be awesome? If we had a thing on the forum where you could search for a topic and see whether it had been posted. That way you could see that the movie has been linked he no less than seven other times, and every one after the first has gotten really ****ty responses about reposts. Seriously, use the ****ing search bar.

Also, I love coffee. It's the best.

Bikes: good ones.

The search function kind of sucks, at least for me. I usually get way too broad or way too narrow results.

I like to type into google "site:bikeforums.net ............." and it usually gets me exactly what I'm looking for.

The ceramic ones are fairly common. The original Melitta was ceramic, if I'm not mistaken.
As far as glass, the Hario Woodneck seems to be fairly common around these parts. It's pricey, though.

I used to have a plastic one as well, then I switched to french press. Gave a super potent brew every time, but I usually ended up with a little sediment in the bottom of the cup.

Again, I'm not on the bike forum every minute of every day, so i prefer to not have some pompous nerd disrespect me over something I thought was funny.

This can't be the first time someone thought what you did/said wasn't funny.

How does it feel to be so angry over some pompous nerds telling you "you're not funny?"

I went from french press to pour over, mostly because it's a tad more convenient.

Also, the bastard child of the two, the aeropress, is good for when I'm feeling hi-tech and shiet.

I probably drink more pour over and moka than anything else though.

perhaps he was a little over sensitive, but how do you expect him to feel when you were a total dick to him?

i realize he had it coming, but still.

imo the best solution to this thread would have been simply not responding.
