So it's monday, and the ride yesterday was really fun. Nice route, good views, and we got to play around for a while in the park. Seems like there's a lot of interest in doing another ride soon.

I have a fun idea for a ride but would like to see what is the best day for all you other fixed/ss guys.

I have thursday and friday off of work so I'm pretty open, what about you guys?

That just means that the IRO posse will not be out in full force for the next one. You will be missed (who's going to show us the no-handed skids?)

its actually not as tight a fit as i thought it would be, still have to play around with adjustments plus add the chain tensioners i picked up yesterday, but i'm running it this way to work, then over to the city at the bar tonight as well.....my poor foot still hurts but have to ride..

ps

thursday & friday are my off days, i'm going to try and ride through this injury....just make me a map this time...in case i have to stop and writhe in pain...

If it's on a weekend I'll go into the city for it. Be nice to get out of town.

I know that dolface and 46x17 won't be able to make it on friday, is there anyone else who would object to a friday ride? This is x-mas eve, so you probably have off work/school.

FYI, the route for this ride will revolve around the different slides in SF. These are concrete slides that you need cardboard to slide down, it's pretty fun and there are enough of them scattered around to make a decent route I think (although Blast Radius needs to show me where Acme is).

Not sure about thursday, probably ~10am at the ballpark (3rd and king/embarcadero/willie mays plaza drive) or something like that.

Friday for the slide-ride, noon, at the bottom of south park.

Just took my seatpost out and realized that I forgot to framesaver my frame before putting it together
I know what I'm doing over the long weekend...

and remember to grease that seatpost and steer tube. I actually run a 26,2 seatpost in my IRO. A much snugger (but not too tight) fit. Helps keep the water out too.

Grease tubes, check.

Ok, so here's the lowdown:

Thursday brakeless ride = meet @ 9:45-10am in front of SBC/Pac-Bell park, 3rd and King.
Map:https://maps.yahoo.com/maps_result?ed...w=1&name=&qty=

Friday slide-ride = meet at the bottom of south park @ noon, 3rd between Bryant and Brannan.
Map:https://maps.yahoo.com/maps_result?ed...w=1&name=&qty=
