Price check please

How much is a used Bianchi Pista 2010 fixie valued at? What would be a good price and an average price?

Bikes: Fixie

On NY Craigslist: stock Pistas run between $300-500. $300 is usually beat up. $500 usually has some nice components.

It looks entirely stock which is good considering it'll have seen little use then. I'll call that a good move. Get foot retention ASAP & a brake if you're new to the game.

A solid clip/strap setup will run you +$30. And you could probably find a standard tektro road caliper for cheap because everyone that goes brakeless has one.

Yeah, I'd say it's an acceptable deal. Considering a new Pista(I don't know the difference in parts from your model) has an MSRP of $730, it seems like a notable discount for just a few nicks. If you like it, it fits you, and you think you got your money's worth - you got a good deal.

ah alrighty, well it feels fantastic.

ok so, today I went out for a ride, approximately 5 miles ride, and it was a sweet one. But then on my way home, I hear this very faint screeching/squeaking noise, and by very faint, I mean very very faint. Should I get it checked out or is that just the sound of the bike doing work.

PLEASE don't start with "Price Check" thread. This crap will never end if it starts.

^^ close it then.

anyway, took it to my lbs and the guy charged me effing $10 to lube it up, taking advantage of my poor knowledge in biking. he just grabbed a can and sprayed it in 10 sec. I guess I paid a dollar per sec.
w/e at least my bike's all smooth. any suggestions on what lube I should purchase?
