yeah I know I did this asking about spicers too. oh well, your thoughts on affinitys? I've read some good stuff but figured id ask anyway.
I like the lo pro but really starting to dig the metropolitan frameset.

I've been to their store in Williamsburg, BK. Really nice guys, carry tons of good tarck parts. Their frames are nice, but the main thing is that they ship their frames in once a year and sell them out pretty quick. Make sure they have your size before you make up your mind.
I used to dig their Lo Pros but its not practical for long rides. Metropolitan looks nice.

i've got a lo pro, and they're great for long rides. i just got back from a 52 miler (https://app.strava.com/rides/5124271) that i've been trying to do once a week or so.
they are very awesome frames. i don't know much about the metroplitan, but i have been mulling over the idea of their 212 roadbike. but then again, 2 affinitys on the bike rack might be a little fanboyish...
i would highly recommend one, if they have one in your size.

the lopro is the backup plan if i can't make sense of a custom steel build. then again i will probably make myself not buy another bike for the foreseeable future.
but if i was to spend less than say 700 on a bike the lopro is it.
