i saw bike polo when i was in the czech republic. it was really bizarre flipping the tv on in the woman's house we were staying in to see bike polo on the news. totally random.

Yes it is impressive to see people doing tricks on bicycles, BUT it is more impressive to see bears doing tricks on unicycles.
edit This is much more impressive because humans are bipeds where as bears are quadrapeds. Bears on unicycles used to be common before animal rights groups banned circuses. Now you can still visit Europe and watch Lipizan horese strained to walk backwards on thier hind hooves. |

I went crazy a few months ago and downloaded like 25 videos like this. If I remember correctly it's called artistic cycling. It's not as impressive when you realize they ride a 1:1 ratio which is basically the same thing as a unicycle with an extra wheel on the front for the dramatic appearance of a perpetual wheelie. Don't get me wrong, these people are awesome and super talented... it's just not the same as someone doing this on a regular track bike. It does kinda make me want to setup a 1:1 bike to screw around on though!
