Realistically though, I doubt anyone would want to sponsor a <20 person party. That would just be weird.

While I agree there would probably be 20 people if we made this a rush deal, we might be able to make this a bikeforums deal if we talk with Tom. Either we do it small and informal and accept that we will get 20 riders and a handful of their family, friends (so what, 50-100 people tops?) or we go big and get everybody on the overall forum involved and make it a BikeForums shindig?
I'm just thinking outloud really, probably mehtastic for most - but it seems like a lot of fun could be had and beer would definitely be consumed.
