Drop Handlebar Help
Hey everyone, I'm looking to convert from a lifelong flat handlebar user to a drop handlebar, just to make the climbs easier. I don't know if I want shallow or deep (what advantages do each give you?) and were looking for some reliable recommendations under $50. I don't know much else about them, so I really have no specifications but ease of use and value. Thank you!

I'm sure some suggestions will come along, but the only advantage I see with drop bars and climbing is the use of standard drop bar, road brake levers - and even this is only for standing. For sitting climbing I find riding on the tops most comfy. Maybe I'm the minority, but I find it uncomfortable to climb in the drops. Having said this, are you looking for drop bars to use with standard road bike brakes? If not, there is nothing wrong with bar ends on flat bars, or better yet some bullhorns.
