Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Ok, this time for real...

Sunday, January 9
The Chicago Cuttin' Crew presents
The Prologue (this one counts!)
of the 7th annual Tour Da Chicago

* registration from 7:30-8:30 a.m. -- ride at 8:45 a.m. -- $5 to enter
"There will be Cuttin'" The field will ride a short (<10 mile) alleycat after which the bottom half will be cut. Ten minutes later the remaining field rides another, shorter alleycat after which the bottom half will again be cut. This continues until two riders go head to head on a mile circuit for all the glory.
