Sugino BB Torque

Just got my new Sugino CBBF-103 bottom bracket, and am trying to figure out the correct torque spec for it. Park Tool gives a range of 435-608 in-lbs for cartridge type bottom brackets, but doesn't have anything specific for a Sugino. There was no documentation included with the BB, and I can't find anything on their website either. Anyone know what torque I should tighten these down to?

A cartridge BB is a cartridge BB. Go by what is specified by Park.

Sugino BB Torque

The range Park gives is still pretty big. Should I just aim for the middle?

The drive side has a flange on it, which will prevent you from overtightening it and you'll know when the nds side is tight. Rocket science it ain't.

Curious, where do you see 435-608 inch pounds?

https://www.parktool.com/blog/repair-...et-service-bbt

I been following this one, which shows at least 360. So been setting my torque wrench to about 370. I guess 435 isn't so much, but 600+ is almost double. The reason I ask is 370 didn't seem like a lot by feel, although my torque wrench does have some leverage to it which makes anything by feel unreliable for someone like me that has minimal experience.

Thanks.

torquing a BB will feel like nothing with a long wrench, don't over do it

It's in the back of my Park Tool Blue Book, and also about halfway down this page.
