My fit issue.

I wanted to move this into it's own thread so I can get some help. Sorry if this annoys the moderators, but I just want to get this figured out.
My girl friend measured me, and I used the fit calculator and here is the results. I have the SST AL 54CM with a 80mm with 25° stem. I am having issues with me knee too far forward and slightly too much reach.

Knee too far forward? What shoes/pedals/clips/straps are you using? Kinda surprising with a relatively moderate 73 degree STA and setback post.

Got pics of bike?

As for reach, try rotating bars back a little bit, that'll bring the hoods closer to you. Might need a shorter stem.

I recently got rid of my toe clips, I am found having the ball of my foot on top of the spindle most comfortable with my knee just behind. My clips didn't allow my foot with shoes to get in far enough.
When I adjust my fore/aft on my seat to accommodate, I slide forward off my seat to adjust for reach. I could go back to using a 70mm 25° rise stem but then I fill unstable going down hills (too far forward?). I am not using the stock bars, so it isn't as easy as pull thing upwards. But I will see if I can tweak with my bars more.

Would getting a new fork with a longer steerer work? It would raise my bars and bring them closer too me. The steerer that comes with the SST al is short (6.5 cm)

Cheaper and quicker to get a mad riser stem.
