And even if they did, it would cost hundreds of dollars, plus tax, and if it's damaged or needs a warranty repair you'll have to pay again to send the thing back...

If I can't drive to the seller in under 2 hours, I won't be buying it. The bike has to be worth at least a $1,500 for shipping to make sense - and then you'll hit the threshold of needing to fill out a customs form (which comes with a several hundred page questionnaire to help fill the thing out...).

Shipping is just too much of a headach. I'll buy local or I won't buy a fixie at all.
