This. Sometimes pockets are a must!

Street rider 09-25-12 11:34 AM

Especially when you only have a few small things to carry. Backpacks are such a pain in the ass when you have nothing to carry.

Jerseys have the best pockets ever. I wish all shirts had jersey pockets.

Exactly. Cadence makes a few hoodies that have pockets, but not quite the same.

Bat56 09-25-12 12:47 PM

You must not be riding far if you have stuff in your pockets.

So do you really need the pad under.

I usually wear whatever I want when commuting or jaunting about in less than 5 mile increments. As far as cycling shorts go I prefer Castelli bibs with the Kiss3 chamois. For me it is the most comfortable. I also have some Pearl Izumi cycling shorts that have a chamois that is too much. They're ok for about 15 miles then chamois sucks. Also Chamois Butt'r is the tits for long rides.

Fail built on another fail.

FakeFuji 09-25-12 06:11 PM

I'm more comfortable not wearing padded shorts
