What type of shorts do you wear?

Pearl izumi quest, definitely going for bibs next pair with better chamois
mabye some kindof writing on it to break up the dark knight look i got goin on

Gore and Specialized bibs for me.

In order of worst to best, Performance Century Club, Canari Gel, Performance Ultra. The Ultras are amazing.

Pants I get in the $1 rack at St. Vinny's and then hem. With decent compression boxers below.

I have a 36/38" waist and use the XL size. I use these under other shorts for modesty.

Have any of you heard of not using Chamois Butt'r with Brooks saddles because there is a chemical in it that will get in the saddle and ruin it?

PI Attack or Nishiki Core (from the big box store in a pinch).

That said I've only picked up Capo recently. I also have the Performance Ultra bibs and Cannondale Classis shorts. The Cannondale's were my first shorts, which fit pretty well, but there's the elastic band since they're shorts and not bibs. The Ultra's were my second pair, but the top part isn't tight around my upper body because it might be a size too big (it's a small so there isn't much I can do and I'm only 105lbs).
