Most comfortable brake levers?

Obviously everyone has their own opinions, but I'm looking to see what standard aero levers people find most comfortable. Looking to use some on a single speed cyclocross bike with cantilever brakes.

My favorites are the Cane creek/tektro/origin 8 ones that are shaped like a second gen ergo lever. Nice and solid (and wide!) like a brifter. I've found anything older makes me feel like I could rip it off the bars if I were to try hard enough.

its crazy that there's such a price difference between the cane creeks and tektros even though they are basically the same (right?)

Pretty sure that other than the little newts molded into the hoods and branding, they're identical. That being said, I have two pairs of the cane creek iteration (right place at the right time on ebay).

I wish I could find (and afford!) a pair of these-

Presumably, this is the lever that was reverse engineered to make the tektro/cane creek/ origin 8s.

...except this is the pu$$y version -- real men don't even use that extra bit of housing...

New Tektro's (341 for large, 340 for small hands) I find much more comfortable than the older Campy-style Tektro/Cane Creeks.

The long pull R520 (and its Cane Creek equivalent) was okay, not as nice as the 341's, but you're quite limited when it comes to long pull road levers.

Sram S500/S900 are modeled on Sram's road shifter/brake levers and I find them to be a little small, but otherwise super comfy.

Currently, I have S900's on my SSCX bike and 341's on my touring bike, but I have a spare pair of S900's I'll change to when it's time to recable/retape that bike.

Another vote for the Cane Creeks. The little newts (skinks?) are wearing off so I may have to see if I can find some replacements.
