Carbon fork for Leader 722 TS Heritage
Hi,
I just recently won an auction on a 55cm Leader 722 TS Heritage and am looking to purchase a carbon fork for it instead of opting for Leader's steel offering. I've seen Leader's carbon S805 fork, which is supposedly built to match the 722 frame, but I'm also looking at a cheaper alternative from Nashbar. Can anyone here vouch for Nashbar's (no-name) 1 1/8 carbon fork? Any other worthy alternatives for this build at <$200?
Also: can anyone distinguish Nashbar's "Carbon Road Forks" from one-another? The specs are identical and the only difference listed is the model name and about $10

One appears to have a rounder bend but their rake is listed as the same?
Thanks

I got the all carbon nashbar fork for 20% off and am very happy with it. I know it is a huge improvement over the older aluminum fork I had on my older langster. It seems pretty well built, but I'm no expert.
However, I have a beater langster that I don't care about how it looks. My opinion would be if you can afford the leader fork, get it.

Columbus has some nice carbon forks around your $200 point

(i'm sure you can find another retailer that's cheaper)
but in all honesty, the nashbar looks like a great deal.

I've also been looking for a carbon fork upgrade and been eyeing Nashbar's forks. I say just spring for the full carbon fork if you're into it and just wait for a 20% or discount sale that they usually have and get it for the same price as an aluminum/carbon...I'm no expert but my .02.
