Jonny Cycles

My friend Miss Red is getting one (gf of lilscotboy above) and was over at hers last night taking a look at paint options, options, etc. lilscotboy rendered some of these at his work based on Jonny's stuff, sorry the photos aren't too hot but you get the idea, they're much much nicer in person.

Those're some really nice renderings. Any idea what he was using?
Also, is that something he's sending to Jonny as instructions? If so, seems like a really great way to make sure you're getting *exactly* what you want.

No, you can just email him.
bystickelbicycles@yahoo.com
He mostly does mountain bikes and you can see some of his work over at MTBR.com:

I know he's made other road frames but since he doesn't have a website it's hard to find examples of his work.

order up before he gets a bigger name and his prices rise

That frame belongs to my buddy Sam. It looks even better than the pictures, the black is metallic and the yellow is pearlescent in the sunlight. It feels light and stiff. He is building the bike up with high-end stuff, should be a classy ride.

Yeah! I started working with Jon in early September. He's been very easy to work with on the design of the frame. He really hears what your trying to say to him through email. I layed it out and he picked it right up. When I saw that first lug all cut up I creamed my pants, man. It's only getting better as it goes together. Wait until you see her all dressed up. It your pants that are gonna be all messed in.
I work at
and he was gonna hook me with some free lug work but oppted out cus I certainly used up some of his time on these. But yeah, get yourself one.

Bikes: Lots. Mostly steel. Mostly heavy. Mostly geared, and very low, at that.
I have JonnyCycles #13, which is the black and yellow frame. The only way I could possibly be more satisfied is if I actually had the money for the parts RIGHT NOW so I could ride the dang thing. It's not super light, 'cuz it ain't supposed to be, but the lugs are amazing, the paint is phenomenal, and the customer service was just top notch. Nothin' quite like home delivery from someone who lives in a whole different state. I have to second something I saw in this thread which was a suggestion to jump on his prices now while they're still low. I was #13, I think he's booked up to like #23 or so. I'll post some more pictures when I can get them off the camera we borrowed.

Treechunk,
I got the same problem, but the other way around. I've got all these smooth parts waiting to be mounted...from the back. No, I really wanted to let the suspense build as long as I could but the Phil's just kept glimmering, so I laced 'em up. Then I had so much time that I started to buy different parts so as to get a fix off ebay. It's like I have two outfits to wear. One to the prom an the other for the floor 'cus I'm gonna rider till the wheelz fall off. Then...I'll need some..other.parts. I'm a bike junky, more like a wh@^e. I need a fix! Jonny..help!
