Mileage is not as important to me. I'm focusing on getting back to my ideal weight.
Due to some injuries, an insane work schedule, other BS that kept my riding down to a minimum, in addition to overindulging in booze and food, I topped out in mid-2012 at a whopping 235 lb.
Made some slight lifestyle adjustments and just started riding the **** out of my bikes again. Zero excuses. Not focusing on numbers, mileage, etc. Just riding.
Ended up dropping 40 lb. over the course of 5 months. Currently weighing in at 195 lb.
Goal for 2013 is to get back to my ideal weight of 175 lb.

2012 I did somewhere between 4000-5000 miles. Mostly commuting and some longer road rides (about one 40+ mile ride/week).
2013 I'd like to focus on doing more long road rides (40 miles+) and do some touring

I was down to about 179, and went back up to 199 :C Almost back into Clyde territory.

There is an app for smartphones though, if your batter can handle it. Give it a search in your appstore. "Strava" is the name.

Never bothered to use strava enough, and I don't have a computer on the Leader yet. The computer on my roadie hit 1000 miles though.
I want to actually track how much I ride this year.

jandro do you own a power meter or is that some sort of calculated W value?
also aren't you smallish? (like ~140 lbs)
if you weigh 140lbs and you can rlly do 348W for 5 min then you need to enter some road road races with ~3-8 min power climbs STAT.

I did around 8,000 miles this year but wanna start doing more 70+ mile rides atleast once a week and start racing cross as I have cross bike now. And to also get a drivers license so I can potentially start driving to the track to learn.
