Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

I'd recommend building or buying one if you're into it and get the chance to do so, it's a fun ride.

Thank you, sir. You aren't lying, it's a blast for sure. Yours looks great, that's awesome that you got yours down to 20lbs.

Someone posted a sweet fixed gear bike with a disk brake up front. Just went through here and checked out a couple dozen pages, no love. Now I don't remember where I saw it. Townie thread? Jackass (even though it was definitely not)? What don't you like about my bike?

Anyone remember the bike I'm talking about? Know where pix of it lives...?

It was some custom frame I got from England. No markings on it except from the frame components and the PO's ZIP code scratched into the bb.
