Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Funny Thomson poster

Hey guys, been a while. How have you been?

Anyway, a few hundred years ago, when computers were the cool thing to have, Thomson made a few posters as advertisements. A lot of shops had them displayed.

One was a pacer being lifted by a crane, and in the middle, holding the chain that held the car to the crane was a Thomson stem. In text it said something like "Thomson - Pick up the Pacer"

And another poster that showed a really really obese man riding a bike with a thomson seat post. In text it said somehting like "Thomson - really strong".
If anyone can send me a link or a file of these posters I woud be super grateful.

Thanks, and happy riding!

I actually have that exact same poster hanging in my man cave in my hideout in the yay area. You can say it has a bit of shop wear when I got it tho.
