I don't think it's necessary - I can't see nipples.

They're probably inside the rim, which would make it that much more difficult.

With such wide rims and huge number of (short) spokes, do such wheels even need truing often? Seems like they'd be pretty stable, unless you crashed etc...

That's what I was thinking: maybe it doesn't need to be trued, just once when it's assembled.

By the looks of things, that front-wheel-drive bike would also steer via the front wheel, must make pedalling whilst taking a corner awkward.

IIRC that sw8 leather covered fixay had something to do with pharrell williams

and was WAY overpriced.
