They're probably inside the rim, which would make it that much more difficult.

With such wide rims and huge number of (short) spokes, do such wheels even need truing often? Seems like they'd be pretty stable, unless you crashed etc...

That's what I was thinking: maybe it doesn't need to be trued, just once when it's assembled.

After seeing so many bad hand stitched handlebars I can actually appreciate the job they did on the leather work. Doesn't make it any less stupid, though.
