Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Yeah, that thing sounds rad. High, fast revs combined with that lovely break between shifts.

Agreed but I totally wish I could get my hair to do that. I remember as a youngin' trying to do a tall mohawk and it always being so crappy and floppy.

Nothing personal, but I would LOVE to see that. Many of the the Boso bike gangs have Yakuza ties, and they're not just dorks with goofy hair on silly modded bikes.

He's in for a world of hurt if/when the basket clamps on the handlebar slip and the basket jams into the front tire.

Hope he's got those done up real tight, I have never been able to keep them from slipping with the stock bolts unless they're vertical.

Not sure about the basket setup but I always love ridiculous combos like a disc and a basket...it's just absurd if you think about it which makes it awesome. No point in taking things too serious.

Buy a GT tri bike and want to run it fixed gear.

1. White Industries Eno?

Or

2. This....

New track end may possibly hold together...but just in case it does, install death wheel to add excitement.
