Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? Is it possible that it was supposed to be a tri-bike and they just forgot the pursuit bars? That's my only guess.

The Machete Pro is even better:

https://www.amazon.com/Spokes-Gears-B...448812&sr=1-30

Nothing says "pro" like internal cable routing, no bottle cage mounts and a kickstand!

"It's hard for me to express just how much I adore the fine craftsmanship and high quality components that went together into making this bike. I call her Machete, because that's what it says on the top tube and again on the seat tube where there is also a *****en picture of an actual machete-knife thingy. "

I don't have any complaints, but if I did have one it might be that the head tube seems to be separating from the down tube above the front fork, and kind of wiggles a bit. I'm not sure if that's bad or not, but so far there have been no problems beyond a few cracked spokes and a broken seat clamp and a snapped pedal. 5/5

i find it hilarious that they designed the bike for internal cable routing, and then use ****ing thumb shifters on the flats with external cabling

oh and also the entire concept of that pile of nonsense.

I'd be inclined to call those "elbow shifters". And, aside from the absurd price, I love the prologue.

I absolutely love the clamps on the brake levers, and the shifters in the tops of the drops. I need them for my next bike.

Does the guy that puts these together for the pictures not know brake hoods are meant to be in a certain region of the drops for a reason?

Whoever designed/built the bike probably doesn't even know how to ride a bike because Im sure the bars are sweetly wrapped like that for you when you buy em.

pretty sure they just mailed a box of parts and a pair of pliers to a photographer who has no experience with building bikes with a message saying "go"
