seriously.
i enjoy vaporwave style music already, and i find it so fascinating that a genre of music created by the internet has since created a subgenre of art that features chopped and screwed simpsons video edits, just for 90s nostalgia
its like the manifestation of the term "feels"

On a completely different note, I'm digging this classic Allman bros track. Love the melody.

When the song drops around 1:15, I always end up hammering like a mofo.

@TMonk, he came into the Colored Musicians Club in Buffalo on one of their Sunday jam sessions and blew my mind. Rest in peace.

I actually don't know Hutcherson too well, but know the name ofc. I'll have to check out more of his stuff, thanks for posting. His band on that album you posted is no joke with Hubbard and Chambers.
In regards to vibes, I've always been a fan of Cal Tjader an associated latin stuff. I heard this new guy, Stefon Harris, on Jazz88 the other day and found it to be neat:
The reverb created from both the vibes and the guitar player's vamping make my body feel high .
The Harris track is a little slow, but it's got a neat meandering melody and some of the percussive effects are off the hook, but no surprise there as vibes are a percussion instrument.

Not sure what prompted it, but I've been listening to R.E.M.'s "Monster" album again lately. I've owned some copy of the album since it came out, and the third track was generally something weird to get through on my way to other songs I liked better. Now I really dig it:
