Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

One-legged pedalling drills

Any of you do this? Reason i ask is i had arthroscopy to repair a tear in my meniscus in June and my left leg is NOTABLY smaller than my right ever since. Both legs have gotten bigger and more cut up/less fatty since i started riding fixed in November, but i want to try to get them a bit more symmetric without going to the gym.

They should hopefully even out.

My left calf is noticeably smaller than my right, but it's from a different circumstance.

It will even out. Just ride more and eat well. Maybe even lift weights (proper squats) 1 or 2 times a week.
