Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? Yeah, the chrome one just makes it easier to check out.

I added their rss feed to my list, but the updates are 6 hours old.

Honestly, I can just leave the tab open and see what's for sale listed on the tab. From watching the site over the last hour, it seems like they have some pretty good deals. Now it's just resisting the temptation not to buy stuff I really dont' need. Castelli jacket for $90 bucks was tempting, but then I remembered it's going to be 120* in a month.

I'm currently looking for a decent set of gloves. Not sure I really need them though, just thought they might relieve some pressure on my wrists. Just don't want to get anything crappy and don't really want to spend a bunch either.

I love the Chainlove browser app. It's how I got my Jawbones for $100.

anybody have any real world experience with the new mash bibs/jerseys?

i like the design, and it is capo which is definitely a step up from my budget izumi jobs

only problem is they give ZERO description on the store except a size chart and a few pics

TheRealFaux uses the Mash stuff. My buddy just ordered a kit, I'll let you know what he thinks about it.

even if they told you the name of the model they use for their design that would be great, so i could look it up on the capo site

fwiw, i think they use the same models pieces for design as they do for their standard line of gear... they are just "blank".. i.e no logos or special colors so they can put the design that they want on it.. I am rather certain Cadence does the same thing, if you're interested.

I found the black and white jersey mash jersey on ebay last year for pretty cheap, so i bought it on a whim... and its probably the best jersey i've owned.. real comfy and a definite step up from PI. I liked it enough to order one of the new histo ones right out of the shop.

As far as bibs go, i haven't had any experience with the mash ones specifically, but i can't imagine they would be far off from the standard capo bib shorts.. So, if you're a cheap ass like me and you want to save a couple bucks, i think the non-mash bib shorts would be ideal, both financially and aesthetically..

Cheers
