Masi fixed 2012 English or Italian threading Bottom bracket?

Hello! I was hoping to find out what type of bottom bracket threading a Masi fixed 2012 has. It currently has a FSA square taper BB, and my reason for asking is that I am buying an Omnium crankset for it, but it comes with English threading BB cups.

It's english threading.

What kind of riding are you doing that is making you want Omniums on a Speciale Fixed?

Thanks man, mostly street riding/racing but I'm looking to get into track once I get a bit of a better set up.

Tell me a google search that gets this answer. Maybe your google-foo is a lot better than mine.

Google will tell you that FSA doesn't make an Italian-threaded square-taper BB.

It also turns up this pic (among many others) of the bike in question sporting Omniums:

Google does no such thing. I searched "fsa square taper italian threaded" and not one front page hit indicates that there is no such thing. You have to actually go through and find all the FSA square taper bb's and see that they are English threaded. FSA doesn't say anywhere "We don't make Italian threaded BB's".

Besides that, this would require looking up an apparently non-existend "2012 Masi speciale fixed" and finding out that it comes with an FSA square-taper BB. That is already a couple steps of reasoning beyond "look it up on google".

The information is clearly there on the internet if you know how to search for it but being able to find it presupposes a lot of bike-internet knowledge and I'm not convinced that "look it up on google" is a very helpful answer.

You wanted OP to do an image search of Masi, see one with omniums, recognize the omniums for what they are and know that omniums only come in English threading? Google is indeed hard.

Dude, really? Is it really so ****ing difficult to type Masi Speciale Fixed Omnium?

He already knows Omniums come with an English-threaded BB, as clearly stated in his opening post.

I tried looking up if new age masi's were Italian threaded and couldn't come up on it, same for the BB. Omniums have the option to be Italian threaded if you buy the Italian bb cups sold separately so a picture of a masi with omniums wouldn't really help. I know now though so yeeah

Dude, just contact Masi. Do we need to Google their contact info for you too?
