Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

And this Cinelli is downright amazing.

Yeah I rode with the guy who owns the cervelo before. I'm pretty sure his name is Lukas (or Lucas), and hes just about as young as me (and even more fiscally irresponsible it would seem). Nice bike, he however managed to get 2 flats during the ride! Doh!

See, we exist as loyal opposition for one another. We keep each other in check. My style just happens to be cooler.

i ride a lagnster and i like it. i also like the old school bikes too. i am workin on building up an old puegot from the mid 80's. its going to be a pimp nonetheless. regardless, i like anything thats a fixed gear. its all about riding the bike and not so much as what it looks like, even though it doesnt hurt to have a badass lookin bike.

I'm really feelin the 05 Colnago Master Track frame. Chromed lugs in the front and the front triangle is Colombus tubing. the rear is carbon fiber and the bottom bracket is butted and so is the top tube and seat tube joint. It's a total mix of new and old.
Please someone stop me from buying this frame.

Awe Come on. We are here to talk about track bikes. Good bad or INDIFFERENT! Each his own. I don't knock anybody about what they ride . I rode and had non traditional track bikes before. FD likes his stuff and I like mine. A little fun now and then lightens it up.

Bikes: a disassembled bianchi lynx i'm gonna convert to ss, a felt roadie with carbon fork, and my baby blue peugeot roadie conversion. a couple sizes too large.

i like the speedy new school frames. my current fixed is a converted steel roadbike, and i feel the pull of carbon and space-age alloys sometimes.

someone's gotta have a calvin sticker of him pissing on either a newschool or oldschool track. then the circle will be complete. :>
